Default can't find oscommerce.sql at install on windows

Hi all,

apologies for asking a question that must have been asked before, but all my searches turn up posts for linux, but not much mention of windows.

I am installing oscommerce version 2.2 on a windows server running phpBB 2.0.11 and mysql 4.0.21-nt

I sucessfully get to connect to the database in step 2, but in step 3 it tells me

SQL file does not exist: /install/oscommerce.sql

I have triple checked the file exists, it is in the /catalog/install directory which i uploaded exactly as it unzipped.

I have checked that the file has the read only property unticked.

I have even uploaded a second copy of the entire install directory to the root directory of my site in case it wasn't looking in the /catalog directory for /install

I am at my wits end, any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks

bob

Default RE: can

You can try installing the database info manually and not through standard install.
Should be possible with phpmyadmin. Don't have it myself, but I think you can select the oscommerce.sql and run it or copy paste the query.
