    Default SQL file does not exist

    Hello,

    I cannot go ahead ...the first message said that a test installation was made but
    in the second stage I get a message :

    SQL file does not exist: http://www.mydomain.it/public_html/c...oscommerce.sql

    I checked and oscommerce.sql is there so i do not understand....

    Also I follow this message help at

    is the same case I follow instructions but I have the same error message..

    Any more help ?

    Check to make sure your paths are correct when you set them up in the first step of the install script
    There\'s something about fireman, day and night they are always fireman!

    Hello |3ackdraft,

    well I tried many time to change something in the first step but I receive the message that test
    connection was made but after that always, "Sql file does not exixt" but is there in the correct path...Is there a way to help me in this phase may be by irc ?

    You can set this up manually

    If you are using phpMyAdmin, find the sql file and copy and paste into your database.

    then what you will need to do is manually change the configurations for your config files.

    /catalog/includes/config.php
    /admin/includes/config.php

    Do you get this message in the install script, when attempting to import the sql database? Looking at your original post, I am not sure when you get this error.
