| because chmod doesnt apply to IIS servers running locally, you cannot set the file permissions. I have been pulling my hair out here lately trying to figure out how to do it and came across it and thought I would share. goto Control Panel, and select folder options. Under the view tab, deselect the "simple file sharing (Recommended)" option & apply. Now you will be able to set permissions per user on any file/folder in your wwwroot directory. Hope this helps! sure has helped me. |
