Default Can't install Oscommerce - only one script in root directory

Hi all

I am a newbie trying to install osCommerce - with not much luck.
I am using my web hosts programme, Fantastico, to install but i only get an error saying that only one script is allowed in the root directory.
I have failed to find out which other script this is referring to and my host just recommends a full reinstall- to no avail.

Any suggestions guys>

Default RE: Can

Contact your host. This sounds like a fantastico issue, not an osCommerce one. You could also try to install to a directory like catalog...
