Default RE: Admin configuration

oSC has not been tested on apache 2 or PHP 5 (or mysql 5) for that matter. These could very well be the issue.

I recommend php 4.3.10, apache 1.3x and mysql 4.xxx.

Hi Michael,

I have installed old version of php, apache and mysql as you recommended, eveything seems to be ok but I try catalog or admin pages I get following error:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client in ........
Unable to connect to database server!

I have tried to find mysql extension but no success, how can I resolve above issue?

thanks
