i wonder if anyone can help?
we have installed OSCommerce and all seemed to be fine until we went to our home page and got a forbidden 403 error we can access admin but we just cant seem to get the site working online?

we have installed OSCommerce and all seemed to be fine until we went to our home page and got a forbidden 403 error we can access admin but we just cant seem to get the site working online?

Make sure you have your catalog dir chmod to 755 and also make sure that your site is setup to use index.php as a DirectoryIndex.
You can do this by adding this to your .htaccess file in the public_html dir:
DirectoryIndex index.php index.html
