Try the index.php in the install directory.

So close and yet so far...

I have tried the index.php. That's the first page loaded, I choose new install from the choices at the bottom of index.php which brings me to install.php. After I fill in all the information and hit continue, the page just refreshes without moving forward. So, basically I can't get past install.php. Has anyone ever heard anything close to this? I'm really at a loss. I'm usually pretty good at troubleshooting and finding any mistakes I have made, but this one has got me stumped.

Check to see if you have installed your web server properly.
either Apache or IIS

then run

http://localhost/catalog/install/install.php

I'm using a hosting service. Which is running Linux, Apache, PHP, and MYsql. I wouldn't be able to check any of that. They say that OScommerce can be installed but they don't support it. I have already installed Interchange and Agora, but I didn't like them as much as I did OScommerce.
