Loading my store

I am new to oscommerce so please forgive me if my questions seem a bit odd. I can use a regular server and know how to upload files on it. I have no experience on this kind of server. Do I upload the catalog files to the httpsdocs folder? Then how do I access the store to input pictures and prices. Once again, Thank You for your patience.

Not sure if I fully understand your question but you would want to find the folder like public_html to upload your catalog to. This all depends on your hosting for your file structure may be different then mine. If you need any help feel free to contact me.
