| Good evening unto all, I have a new installation of the current OSCommrce and up until now has gone fine. I have been trying to get it operational with authorize.net to no success. My settings are below: Credit Card Test Info: CC#: 4111111111111111 Expiry: Any Enable Authorize.net Module True Login Username ************ (starred out for security) Transaction Key ************* (starred out for security) Transaction Mode Test Transaction Method Credit Card Customer Notifications True Payment Zone --none-- Set Order Status default Sort order of display. 0 I also have authorize.net in test mode. I am continually getting the error: "There has been an error processing your credit card. Please try again." I have searched the database and see nothing that lloks like a reason why. Can anyone be of help please?? |

| Take the transaction mode out of Test mode and change it to Production in OS Commerce. In your www.Authorize.net Control Panel KEEP in test mode. Use the following Credit Card Test Numbers when testing the cart. Make sure all credit card fields are filled in, even if you make it up! Any expiration date after the current month will work. Test Credit Card Numbers (only these card #'s will work with Authorize.net in TEST mode. Any of the following card numbers can be used to run test transactions. Please note that these numbers do not represent real card accounts; they will return a decline in live mode, and an approval in test mode. Any expiration dates after the current day's date can be used with these numbers. TEST CARD NUMBER CARD TYPE 370000000000002 American Express 6011000000000012 Discover 5424000000000015 MasterCard 4007000000027 Visa There is also a test credit card number that can be used to generate errors. THIS CARD IS INTENDED TO PRODUCE ERRORS, and should only be used if that is the intent. To cause the system to generate a specific error, set the account to Test Mode and submit a transaction with the card number 4222222222222. The system will return the response reason code equal to the amount of the submitted transaction. For example, to test response reason code number 27, a test transaction would be submitted with the credit card number, “4222222222222,” and the amount, “27.00.” Hope this helps, Rob |
