Hi Rosina,

This error is sometimes caused by uploading new files but you are still using the old database of oscommerce, it is like, you have an old installation of oscommerce with an old database and you uploaded the new oscommerce version without updating your database. If this is not the case, what I would suggest is that you try updating your database using the installation tool of the new oscommerce, this has an Upgrade option that will not damage your database, in any case, I suggest that you have to backup everything first, if you are doing this as a test one, then you can play around it.

There are some fields added on the database causing the error to come up because of incompatibility.

However, these are all just my pure assumptions and if any of the above-mentioned scenario doesn't fit yours, please post in here the steps you did to install your oscommerce or what you recently did that got you into this mess.

Hope it helps,
Paul

Default Thank you

Hi,

Thank you so much for your reply!! You are completely right, as I think I did not upgrade properly. Unfortuntely the database is corrupt now so I will just start again.

Once again thank you!
