Default check_ip.php missing file?

ive been trouble shooting and noticed a slew of missing file errors on my apache error log.
File does not exist: Document root dir/check_ip.php3
cant seem to find any info on this file. i can guess its functions but i havent even found code that calls for it to be there yet so im rather confused at the moment
anyone know whats up?

I dont see this in my error logs. The file check_ip.php3 is not part of the osCommerce installation, so I would guess that the file calling it is not part of osCommerce either, unless you installed a contribution.
