Hello all,

Need some help about these warning in admin:

Warning: fopen(;"c:/program file/apache group/apache/htdocs/oscommerce/catalog/admin/includes/configure.php","w"). No such file or directory in c:/program file/apache group/apache/htdocs/oscommerce/catalog/install/templates/pages/install_5.php on line 164

warning: Supplied argument is not a valid file-Handle resource in c:/program file/apache group/apache/htdocs/oscommerce/catalog/install/templates/pages/install_5.php on line 165

warning: Supplied argument is not a valid file-Handle resource in c:/program file/apache group/apache/htdocs/oscommerce/catalog/install/templates/pages/install_5.php on line 166

What is this "w" after the config.php ?

Regards,
E.Pierre

The "w" stands for write permission. I'm not sure if you typed it in wrong or if that semi-colon was actually in the code, but afaik, it's not supposed to be there. That might be the source of your problem if you're lucky.

Default Help About Warning

Hi there:

I hope you have solved your problem by now, but just in case. . . I ran into the same problem in installing 2.2 with the web install. The documentation appears to give you the choice of installing the admin module at the same directory level as the catalog module, but in fact it should be installed inside the catalog directory, so that the path to its location looks like this:
YourCatalogName/catalog/admin/

I hope I am explaining this clearly. I deleted my first installation, copied the files to the correct location, and started over. It worked just fine the second time.

Good luck--Ricka
