no 'new products' displayed in 'sub-catagories'?

Hi everyone,
I have a small problem with my osc. When a select a catagory (i.e. printers) the page loads up displaying links to the sub-catagories (i.e. laser, inkjet) but the 'New products for january' are not displayed. I mean the top of the table is displayed saying 'New products for january' but the actual products don't appear underneth it.
Anyone got any ideas?

When did you put the products in?

If you put them in in December then they will not show up.

They only show up for the month they were put in.

Nope. The products were added to the catalog in january. The new products show up on every required page but not the sub catagories page.

Did you resolve this problem? All my updated products are there but they wont list when their category is selected?

Nah I gave up in the end!
Just attempting to have a 'specials' preview in it's place instead. I'll let you know when I'm successful!
