We have a store located in North Carolina and are using the North Carolina tax zone, however, we recently received an order from someone in South Carolina and they were charged the North Carolina sales tax. Is this because of the "Carolina" in the zone name? Any suggestions to remedy this? Thanks, Rusty

obinet, north and south carolina are two SEPERATE zones with SEPERATE zone_ids, so that should not cause problems, I had somewhat similar problems with NYS taxes and had to hard-code some of the functions (even though thats not recommended). Just a thought, are you charging taxes based on billing or shipping address?

Thanks for your response. I guess that problem was just a one-time glitch, because we were unable to replicate it. We have several oscommerce stores in North Carolina, a few of which are very busy, and that's the only occurrance thus far.
