error 501: failure naked line feed no matter what I do!!!

ok.. heres the error...

running on the following server.. windows xp, IIs 5 with smtp disabled, running kerio mail server 5.7.9 with smtp and pop enabled. latest version of osc..

I have tried setting email options to smtp and sendmail, tried LF and CRLF... Tried mime html also.. nothing will get rid of that error message.. and I cant see why its coming up.. I know my smtp is working fine, I can send mail from it all day long.. I have been just to make sure its working..

any ideas? Ive done a search of the forums, but didnt see anything that will help me..

And if this helps, YES, I can send emails from the admin.. its just the features of the store to send a password, etc.. that arent working.
