Country Spain, State/Province ALABAMA

Hello everyone, Im a newbe to this, so some help would be great. After some playing around, i managed to delete all countries, and then realised i deleted one i needed. So i have tried to add a new country, put in the codes for spain, and click the buttons and now when i use Spain as my country, my states and provinces list the states in america! Not much use! Suggestions on how to install the correct states for Spain would be great! Ive had a look around but cant seem to find anyone having this problem! thanks in advance!

From backups:

• Restore catalog/includes/languages/*espanol*.* and catalog/includes/languages/espanol/*.*
• Restore catalog/admin/includes/languages/*espanol*.* and catalog/admin/includes/languages/espanol/*.*
• Restore the following database tables, or import from an unzipped and edited original install.sql:

countries
currencies
geo_zones
languages
zones
zones_to_geo_zones

Each country matches a specific ID and if changed can be 'fun' to fix. Note: this will also reset tax rates, so check first for current values.
Once done, go into Admin and add Espanol back in.

Take another backup before you even think of starting to do the above.

Notice, rather than standard osCommerce, osCmax has additional zones added, AFAIK. Hope this helps and isn't a bum steer, due to misunderstanding.

And what do you think i should do if the idiot thats writing this didnt create a backup until after the deletion of the countrys???? Thanks for your help thou! I suspect ill have to add them in one by one :'-(

Read a little closer, the information is readily available, if you open in a decent text editor (eg. gedit/notepad++)

... edited original install.sql

then use phpmyadmin to import.
Language files can be retrieved from the original source.

Thanks for your help. I decided i would just add the zones again, and all is working again. Still learning lots about oscommerce and the such. Very much a newby mistake, and one i dont plan on repeating. thank you guru! With me, spelling it out works best
