Create Account,Checkout,My Account, Language Pictures probs!

Hi All,
I have gone through the forums (new and old), but I haven't found info for my prob. I hope I looked hard enough, I definitely tried.

First of all here's my system info, I run it on localhost WinXP and phpdev and oSC2.2:

I have now managed to finalise the installation after all the initial trouble. I have also been able to run and modify all the Admin functions. DB seems to be ok, I am able to add, remove and view items normally.

Everything goes ok and smoothly only so far when I try to click on (in Catalog!) Create Account, Log in, Check Out, ..i.e. it seems everything related to user accounts. I have no idea how could I trace this down. It just gives the normal IE error page after clicking those (if I remember correctly it's error 404 not found, I am now on different computer). So please guys any tips? I am frustrated as so far I made good progress and everything went ok even though I am a total newbie in php and mysql.

The second less critical prob is that all the pictures from language packs seem to be not displayed at all in catalog. It somehow cant find or access the picture files. The files themselves do exists and in correct locations, I havent changed any of that. I installed a new language and the installation went fine and it also works excepts the pictures don't show up!
