Undo what you edited or restore files from a backup. Make sure all files exist.

Make SURE there is no extra SPACES or LINES on the very top (before the '<?php') or at the very bottom (after the last '?>').

Did you make changes in Admin to the language files/setting?

No backup because I have just installed DB and doing configuration.
Next time I will do it immediately.

Yet another reason to make sure you have a VAILD backup before you do "ANY" changes in Admin.

Please use the BACKUP/RESTORE feature in admin when your changing anything in the database in OSC - that way your butt is covered!

OK, it's just that I got a similar error from the admin tool for neglecting to create the files in /admin/includes/languages for a new language I'm defining.

I fixed this now, but can you clarify if the following is the correct and complete approach to implementing a new language (haven't been able to find a how-to anywhere, honest):

    1. Define and configure language in admin tool
    2. Duplicate an existing language in /includes/languages
    3. Ditto in /admin/includes/languages
    4. Translate all one can manage by editing the duplicated files

Is there more one needs to do?

    TIA
