Can't login to admin I just installed oscmax 2.03 on my desktop using wamp (easyphp) - php 5.28, mysql 5.13. Installation went smoothly, but when I tried to log into the admin section, it says "Wrong user name and password" no matter what I do. I used the default login - admin@localhost.com/admin and the ones I set up during installation but didn't work. Re-installed the script used the default login password as my own password but that didn't work either. Anybody know how to solve this? Thanks.

Re: Can't login to admin There is no default login for osCMax 2.0.3. You set the password and login when you ran the installer. If it is not working, perhaps your sessions directory is not writable? Edit the configure.php files and change the STORE_SESSIONS to mysql to get around it. It is a common problem on WAMP setups.

Thanks for your reply. I checked the 2 configure.php files and saw STORE_SSESSIONS is already set to mysql in both files.
I re-installed it and set different password and used that one, but
had same problem.
Any other suggestions?

Re: Can't login to admin Look in the database and see if it is being populated with your info. You want to look at the admin table. See what the login is, and if a password is populated (it will be encrypted so you will not be able to see what it actually is).

Looks like that was the problem. admin data are not populated into the table.
Is this a permission issue? I did log in as an administrator into the window.

Re: Can't login to admin I use easyPHP all the time. If you followed the instructions - there are no permission issues. Sound like you did not "install" it yet -- or you have the PITA :anal: VISTA OS. (make sure there is no "read only" attributes set.)
Make sure you go in the browser to:
localhost/catalog/install/
Follow the instructions.
It will ASK you for the admin user/pass that you want to use.
MAKE SURE THE DB IS WIPED CLEAN before reinstalling.
