Default IE Explorer Problem using SSL

Hi,

When I hit the checkout button in my cart and I transfer to the SSL site, my images all have broken links. If you hover over them, you see https:///. This problem doesn't occur in Netscape, it loads the images fine. Why is the extra '/' appearing under IE Explorer?

I've double checked both my configure.php settings. The odd thing is that it looks fine in Netscape.

Help!!!

Scott

Default I found the problem

I figured out the problem on my own. By removing all <base href> statements from all of the php files, I can know view my pages without broken image linsk in Explorer. Before, I could only view complete pages in Netscape. Apparently, Netscape ignores <base href> statements.

The <base href> statements were interpreting my ssl site incorrectly, so the pages couldn't find the images.

Scott

Why aren't more people experiencing this? I haven't seen any adverse side effects by removing the lines...

sradwick, the problem is not the <base href> tag, but the configure.php file that constructs the URL. If you have it setup incorrectly there, you will get an incorrect <base href> construction. That is why you don't see more of this. Most people have their configure.php setup correctly
