| I have just intalled Apache 1.3, Mysql 4.0, and PHP 4.3.4 on my Windows 2000 server. After I entered info in the OsCommerce install.php, the database import page, I get the following error. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ New Installation Database Import A test connection made to the database was NOT successful. The error message returned is: Access denied for user: 'admin@server1.HSCHEN.COM' (Using password: YES) Please click on the Back button below to review your database server settings. If you require help with your database server settings, please consult your hosting company. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have created a blank database called oscommerce from the mysql prompt and used WinMySQLAdmin to set username and password in my.ini. I am not sure where I did wrong. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you. |
