RE:Shipping-Asking for suggestion

Hi,

I am asking any suggestion on how to add or what's best or how to qoute for a shipping fee to any countries?Like for example I am selling some electronic products and products vary from sizes and weight and I want to accept or ship worldwide,so how can I easily insert shipping fee for the item.Should I use flat rate,per item or table rate and how?I am asking for your opinions and suggestions,how you do guys.Thanks.
By the way,I want to use FedEx.

By weight is most likely best. I would think you need to lookup some SAMPLES of items you are selling and figure out the average cost of shipping. A video card worth $300-600 dollars cost a whole lot less to ship than a $200 flat screen monitor. And a $200 IPOD is what 1/40 the size and weight.....

This will calculate Fedex shipping based on the zone rates that Fedex publishes on their site.

Please explain: What you did and with which MOD did you go with?

Look like your declaring some thing some where twice...

Suggestions: Check the mod's install instruction(if any). Check all files needed are uploaded (and in the proper place). All other files that need to be are edited-are done properly. Any other files are needed that are not included in the mod?
Make sure you are not OVER writing existing files.

Hi,

I have uploaded all the folders and files on designated folders stated on the install.Maybe I went wrong when skip Step 1-3 and jump to Step 4,anyway I have deleted it and install Real Time but still have problem,I have uploaded file fedex1.php on catalog/includes/modules/shipping .When I login to main site and able to try to buy product and checkout , this was displayed :

Well that is self explanatory....

Step 2 is optional -get latest rates....

Step 3 is to upload the files..if you skip this .... Well that is self explanatory....Too...

Step 4... obvious they don't know how to add option dynamically. But okay to skip now....

Step 5... also obvious they do not know how to use the install features.... But you need to run this file.....


For Direct ... Have you installed starting at 2.07? If not then in Admin uninstall it and upload this version then add the few newer ones....the "re-"install it in Admin.
