Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: catalog/imag

Hi all,

I have just put my site up online. Everything looks fine , main catalog section is showing images, products etc. now however when I try to add new images in the admin section I get following error

Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: catalog/images/.

and cannot add the new images.

Can anyone throw any light on the subject.

Check to be sure folder is there and is chmodded to 777
