Default forgotten password email sent to some, not to others

Having trouble with the password forgotten php.. received 5-7 emails from people stating they havent gotten an email from the system, and they have valid email addresses.. and at the same time I tried it myself sending an email to a different email address and it worked for me.. within a matter of minutes..

any advice? I run a rh9 server, so i'm using sendmail, send emails is set to true

Check the mail queue on the server and see if it is sitting there. If you are using Exim, that is the place to look first. Also, the mail logs could be useful in tracking it down. If it is working for you, and not for them, it could be a million things. Spam blockers, full inbox, rejected by the remote server for various reasons (IP in mail, no reverse dns, on and on).
