| What problems are to be expected with a slightly too old PHP (4.1.2)? I am planning to set osCommerce MS2 (or MS2-MAX) on Debian stable and it doesn't come with new enough PHP4. Alternately, does somebody know a really good backport of a newer PHP for Debian? |

| You can always recompile the latest PHP 4.3 on Debian. There was a PHP BUG in ONE version - 4.2.2 (all binaries and sources for ALL platforms) See: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=19553 http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=17236 So as long as you stay away from this version you will be okay. OSC will work on PHP version 3 and up (atleast with the current milestones - Future OSC versions will soon require 4.1 or better). Good Luck.
