Possible Incompatibilities

Hello all.

First post from another newbie.

Here is what I have done so far:

O/S - Win XP Pro

Wampserver 2.0

osCommerce Auto Parts template (appears to be dated 2003)

Can get as far as http://localhost/www/install

Can see the new install or upgrade screen

When choosing either, I see status bar on task bar flash by rapidly, screen refreshes, and never get past this very same install screen.

Is it possible that this particular template will only function properly with version 4.x of PHP and MySql?
