Default Must you import the catalog database?

Must you import the catalog database? I have not installed OCS yet, but I wanted to ask this before I start. The problem is my web hosting does not allow Create and Drop permissions to the database that I am using?

Please Advise.

If you do not have create permissions, you will not be able to create the necessary data structures. This is really necessary. You could have your host do it for you.

I am always amazed that hosts do not allow such basic things as this. There are many high quality hosts that do allow this. Maybe look into changing.

I should have write access because I am running vBulletin and that imported the data into the database. I ftp the files to the server, I just need to chmod and play around with it this weekend.
