    Default New Install stops immediately

I'm having little problems in installing osC... After copying the necessary files (catalog, admin) i tried /catalog/install/install.php.
After putting the text into database-server, database, username and password i tried the continue-button.
the problem is that nothing, really nothing happend. the install script came back to install.php every time i clicked continue.
What may be wrong? Please try to keep tech phrases out, I'm really new to this!

BTW, 2.2. setting up on www.host.sk... Anyone got experiences???

    Thx a lot

What php version? Do you have safe mode off? Check those first.
