Default What name should database be?

Gooday,

I am a very newby, so please make the answer simple.

I have a site with a hosting company and they have installed mySQL for me. What name do I have to get them to use for the database?

Can I use a name I want or does it have to be oscommerce.sql

Thanks

Bill

Bill,

You can name your database whatever you like.

Bill,

My server always assigns the username of the account before the db name like:
username_nameofdb

I usually use osc for the db name so it looks like this:
username_osc

Yours may not be like that. Setup a db and if you don't like it just delete it and setup another one.

You can use any name you like.
