| Gooday, I am a very newby, so please make the answer simple. I have a site with a hosting company and they have installed mySQL for me. What name do I have to get them to use for the database? Can I use a name I want or does it have to be oscommerce.sql Thanks Bill |

| Bill, You can name your database whatever you like.

| Bill, My server always assigns the username of the account before the db name like: username_nameofdb I usually use osc for the db name so it looks like this: username_osc Yours may not be like that. Setup a db and if you don't like it just delete it and setup another one. You can use any name you like. |
