| Copy your entire local site to the web server. Then, export your local db to a sql file (data and structure). Go to the web server, create a database, then run the sql file in phpmyadmin to add your data to the database. Then, modify the configure.php files manually to match your new webserver. Finally, check to make sure all permissions are correct, and that you have secured the admin area. That should do it.

| Hi...I have OSC installed on one webserver and am wanting to transfer it to another. Should I just ftp files to new server and export database or do I need to reinstall the scripts? Hopefully not the latter since I've done a lot of my own mods to the includes... Help?! |
