whos_onlins has crashed...what?

For no reason I can fathom my site now returns the following error:

145 - Table './scalecre_oscmax/whos_online' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

delete from whos_online where time_last_click < '1250212140'

[TEP STOP]

Not even sure where to begin.

you need to repair the whos_online table in your database. The easiest way is to use phpmyadmin (usually included in hosting control panel) and use the repair table feature to fix the problem.
