| i am having a problem with oscommerce. when i enter my admin area it shows 9k products as well as on the frontend.. but yesterday we had 21k products there. i checked the phpmyadmin and under products table it still shows 21k products, so how come website is not extracting all the products from database? can u please help me sort this thing?? i really need help here. thanks alot. awaiting reply. bye |

| It could be many things, check the mysql logs and php logs to see if it is timing out part way through. Also make sure that all products are assigned a category - look in the products to categories table and see if that table is correct.

| i dont knw how to check the logs u specified.. but im sure about timing out.. its not at all timing out.. it just says that 9k products are there. ive also checked the phpMyAdmin.. all products do have been assigned a category. |

| If you are on shared hosting, contact their support and see if they can check for you regarding time outs of mysql or php. If the page takes too long to load, or uses too much ram it could stop loading.

| we own our dedicated server and loadtime is set to max. we have 2 stores.. with approx same amount of products.. same settings and same oscommerce files (copied). the other store is working just fine. so it cant be ram issue or loadtime. |

| found out the issue.. the products were uploaded via easypopulate but for some reasons.. some of the products had availability date set as too much into past.. so they were not being displayed. i nulled the availability date in phpMyAdmin and they got back into the site. thanks for help guys RESOLVED! |
