Meta Description for Home page

Hi guys.

I was wondering if someone can help me with chaning the description that comes up in the search engines for the home page. At the moment the site comes up with "oscommerce: whats new here" I have looked around and one of the threads said to go into languages and then index and you can change it in there which i did and still it hasnt worked... do i have to release the changes or something. Or can anyone think of another way. here is my site url... check it out in google and you will see the problem im having. Cheers guys

Edit index.php file in your language directory....

Make sure you CLEAR out your browser cache.

if you changed something it takes google up to 24hours to update there servers
