Angry email problem after fresh install

Hi,

I am getting the following error message when trying to change the password for the default admin account Warning: mail() [function.mail]: SMTP server response: 501 5.5.4 Invalid Address in E:\Websites\htdocs\shop\admin\includes\classes\ema il.php on line 521

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at E:\Websites\htdocs\shop\admin\includes\classes\ema il.php:521) in E:\Websites\htdocs\shop\admin\includes\functions\g eneral.php on line 150

Config is Windows 2003 with the latest xmapp install, have checked PHP.ini and that has the correct IP address for my local email server (NOTE all servers local) have also checked configuration has email set to SMTP

any thoughts on why I get this?

Default Re: email problem after fresh install

You get that because your local smtp server is either not running or not allowing local connections. As for how to resolve, you may want to check the xampp forums for help.
