no where to enter Discount Coupon Code

I installed oscmax 2.0, and when going through the checkout process there is nowhere to enter in a Discount Coupon Code. The codes are set up and the sort order seems to be correct according to other posts. Can anyone help

discount coupons normally shows up in the payment portion of the checkout process. Are you stating that the block that displays in checkout_payment.php to allow a user to enter discount codes is not displaying at all?

As an aside, After spending a great deal of time over the last three years playing with traffic generation and sales I can firmly state that offering discount coupons does not generate return sales and does not generate new sales that become second sales as effectively as other methods of advertising and discounting (such as google adwords for advertising and customer loyalty discounts for discounting). As always, YMMV, but when it comes to ROI I suggest that anyone considering coupons track their effectiveness closely. As I state on the front page of the new site when I explain the customer loyalty program What about coupons? We have used them in the past, we may use them again in the future, but we are not using them now. We find that coupons reward single time shoppers and we really want to be your "go to" provider, so we provide bigger discounts for those that make larger and more consistent orders from us rather than seek those one-time buyers with coupons.

Correct the users never get an option to enter a discount coupon code.

It should come up in the checkout on the checkout_payment.php page:

checkout_payment.php

After the available "Payment Method" and before "Add Comments About Your Order" you should have a:

Credits Available
	
  Gift Vouchers/Discount Coupons	
  Enter Redeem Code [              ]     {Redeem Button}

If it does not show up - then you removed the code/modified the template or some how have turned off the option. Please check your code editing.
