LinkBack URL
About LinkBacksMy catalog homepage can only be reached by the world by typing URL www.yoursite.com/catalog but not when trying to go to www.yoursite.com. Not much use to that for prospective customers. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Catalog can't be reached on WWW at yoursite.com, but only at yoursite.com/catalog My catalog homepage can only be reached by the world by typing URL www.yoursite.com/catalog but not when trying to go to www.yoursite.com. Not much use to that for prospective customers. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Re: I can only get to home page at www.yoursite.com/catalog you could do a rewrite or you can move the /catalog directory to the root directory. If you do the second you will need to change includes/configure.php appropriately.

Re: I can only get to home page at www.yoursite.com/catalog Many people have an informational site or opening demo/flash/intro which then sends them into your actual site or has a link to there "shopping cart" site.

Re: I can only get to home page at www.yoursite.com/catalog I use a php redirect... unlike a html one it's instantaneous. google will have a sample file for you i don't have mine handy.
