Default backup error

Whe i try to back up from the admin panel of osCMax i get the following errors:
Code:
Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/bin/gzip) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/futonsco:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/futonsco/public_html/admin/backup.php on line 426

The backup from admin panel works fine on the free hosting by 'phpnet.us' but on their paid hosting I get these errors, although i can backup without any problem from their cPanel. Thanks in advance to all the great and helpfull members of the osCMax community and hope you all will excuse my ignorance on the questions i put up on the forum.

Default Re: backup error

First - try not to compress the file. Does it work then? If so talk to your hosting company to open up the restrictions.
