Angry Not able to install due to Security Risk

I am still not able to install the template properly and that Template Online Support Chat seemed not able to help thoroughly...

First, it was about registers_globals which turned out my hosting company said that it was not allowed to be activated in my region due to security risk then they told me, OSCommerce have some bypass command for this.

Got back to that Helpline and they told me the bypass command, following it and now the Error Message appears is :

"Security Alert! The PHP CGI cannot be accessed directly. This PHP CGI binary was compiled with force-cgi-redirect enabled. This means that a page will only be served up if the REDIRECT_STATUS CGI variable is set, e.g. via an Apache Action directive."

Anyone can help me on this!!!???? I got totally fed up now and wondering will Zen Cart proves to be better? If it's better, I will surely switch to Zen Cart and forget about buying those template again...

Any help is very very much appreciated!!

    Tks,
    Mich

Sounds like you need a new hosting company

The problem is that you have a host that does not allow register_globals enabled or allow you to override it via .htaccess

This is not a support issue for either the template provider or us here at osCmax. You should address it with your host, and if they will not allow you to turn register_globals on, you cannot run osCMax with that host. Plain and simple.

There are hundreds of hosts that will run osCMax, so if you want to use osCMax, use a host that supports it. osCMax is no different from osCommerce in that respect. If your host cannot run osCMax, it cannot run osCommerce either.

Switch to a host that will accomodate your requirements or one that supports the software you want to run.

    I see..
Yap, in that case, I will either not able to use my template while with this hosting company or look for a new hosting company to enable it then..
