Is php running in safe mode (open basedir restriction?)

You need to either turn off safe mode or change your temp directory to be in your users path, not outside the user directory tree. If php is not in safe mode, make sure the /tmp directory is chmod 777 too.

Hi, thanks for answering, yes, I've just checked and safe mode is on.
Don't mean to sound completely dumb but how do I change the temp directory into my users path?

    Thanks
