My store went live today, but I ran into a strange problem with the downloadable products transactions -- the downloads button would not appear, either on the checkout_success.php page, or within the order invoices available within "My Account."

What I found out was that the problem came from the filenames -- the fellow entering the products got the names slightly wrong. And just to be on the safe side, I got rid of all unusual characters in the filenames. Presto! The button reappeared.

Later, when testing the products, I found that the button had disappeared again. Then I discovered that my number of downloads had run out. I changed the number of downloads and began again. Once again, the button reappeared.
