product notification -- how to write one?

I found in other threads that the product notifications need to be written manually. I've searched through my menus and also through the info on the wiki at oscdox.com and can't find any clues. Where is the interface for this?

Admin >> Tools >> Newsletter Manager

Select Product Notification from the dropdown and write your notification. Save it. Lock it. Then click the Send button.

On the next screen, see the products listing. Select how you want to proceed by either clicking Global or selecting individual products. Then submit.

That's totally obscure -- I never would have guessed. That said, it works like a charm.

LOL, it is indeed obscure. I came searching how on earth to use the product notifications/how it worked... Just found out, thanks
