| Ok so first a run down. I do all development on my server under a DEV domain. Once something is working correctly I just move tgz it over to store domain. Thing is everything is working perfectly on the DEV site but on the live domain I have: "Warning: main(includes/modules/FILENAME_FEATURED): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/flipc/sk8.worldconspiracy.org/html/templates/sk8/content/index_default.tpl.php on line 48 Warning: main(): Failed opening 'includes/modules/FILENAME_FEATURED' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /home/flipc/sk8.worldconspiracy.org/html/templates/sk8/content/index_default.tpl.php on line 48" Nothing is missing or changed except the config file. I have deleted the entire directly and reloaded all files and the DB. More than once now. The config file doesn't change much just the domain URL. I am using shell commands to do everything (except edit config file) so there isn't a question about FTP screw ups nor permission issues (as i said it all works on DEV site) Of course I can remove the code but that doesn't answer why it shows on one and not the other? |

| First you need to BACKUP in the ADMIN interface your DB in the DEV server. Then do one of two things: 1) Then UPLOAD oscmax (plain/unmodified if you added any MODS). "Install" it with the default database. Upload your modified files and template.... Then using the Admin Backup feature - "restore" the database from the DEV backup you made. 2) Upload your WHOLE modified store to your production server. Download the backup file you had made to your local PC..... If compressed - uncompress it... Modify both configure.php file for both URL and database name/password. Using phpMySQL - create/select your empty database. A) Click on "SQL" tab or "Run SQL"..... cut/paste contents of your backup file. or b) Click on "IMPORT" then browse to the file on your LOCAL PC. Click on "GO". |
