Wmsg, multiple vendors, downloadables?

Hi everyone,
I have a few questions which I hope some users know the answer to:

1. Even though I have changed the includes/configure.php back to 644, I still receive a warning MSG ". . . . . please set the right user permissions on this file." Any ideas?
2. I was under the impression that it is possible to add multiple vendors and associate products to vendors. Where is this done? Where can vendors view their product sales?
3. Also how do I add a downloadable product?

1. Try chmod 444

2. You can add manufacturers in the Manufacturers section and associate products with them when you create the products. There is no method for the actual vendors to look up their sales this way.

Actually, there is a contrib that will let you associate products with different vendors, and send email to them per order, here: osCommerce: MVS V1.0

I was actually just coming to the site to see how to make it work with oscmax...lemme know if you install it and how well it worked.
