Default Root or in Catalog directory

Hi a bit of a Noob question.

Iam running plesk and i usulay install to the root of httpdocs dir rather than the catalog dir , my question is does it make a Differnce to where the catalog is ?
One more last question i have a Httpsdocs dir aswell and some point i want to get a ssl certifciate , now would i have to install the whole oscmax in that dir or just put it in httpdosc dir ?

Youre help is deeply appreciated.

Salim

1. No, you can install osCMax in whatever directory you want.

2. Depends on how your server is set up. You could symlink httpsdocs to httpdocs and you would only need a single install.
