Steps to launch?

Im just thinking out loud here.

I caught myself getting a bit carried away with getting the shop stocked up that im doing but thought that I really need to sort out some other stuff first surely as theres little point in stocking the whole shop completely unless i ensure the rest of the process is set up properly.

So, assuming that you have our shop stocked am I right in saying that the things left to do are:

1. Set up the Payment methods and test them
2. Set up the Shipping methods and test them
3. Set up the T&Cs, returns policy, privacy policy.

Am I missing anything?

Those are the basics. I would do it in this order:

1. Set up basic configuration in admin panel Admin >> Configuration. Change what you need to change, leave what you are unsure about until you check the documentation. Add some test products.
2. Set up your payment, shipping and order total modules. Test each one.
3. Customize your site design and test.
4. Add your static pages (privacy etc)
5. Add product/category data and attributes

Of course you can do these in any order as they all need to be done before you open.
