| OK I have been doing this long enough to know to backup --- I was in a hurry and deleted, by mistake, my active database. I have used oscmax to make a backup on Dec 23, 2006. I restored an old backup from the site the website is up but this was from august. I would like to updated it with my backup from Dec. PHP my admin times out. OSCmax gives the following error Internal Server Error "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@weightloss.thecarolinaweigh.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log." How can I restore this sql file? Thanks, and I admit my error. |

| Use phpmyadmin to restore instead of the web interface. It is timing out, that is why you are getting the error.

| If you have Cpanel it has a function to restore a MySql database. I haven't used it but it's there. You can restore it with PhPmyadmin but you might have to break it up so it doesn't time out.
