Default error message after install

when i test the catalog page after install i see the following message at the top of the screen

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/jpzzvw/public_html/planet-moto/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

I don't get this as i have set the above php file cmod properties to 644 as described in the manual but still it's there - can anyone help

thanks

If 644 doesn't work, logically you should further lower the permissions.

Try chmod 444

URL please? Clear your browser cache and if you have the page cache turned on in osCMax, clear that too.
