 install problem Could someone please explain to me what difference between ASCII mode vs Binary mode and Auto mode. all ducuments recommended using ASCII not binary, but when I used ASCII all the pictures and some text are distored. I have tried Oscommerce, Zencart, Virtumart using binary mode without any problem, but not with ASCII. I have accidently selected Auto mode when I upload the Oscmax now I get Http 500 error or internal server error when installing. I thought Auto mode suppose to figure out which mode to use. Thank you Anchim     |

| RE: install problem Pictures are a BINARY file all php files should be ASCII. MOST updated FTP programs if you use "Auto" will detect if the file should be sent as BINARY or ASCII as required. Make sure your using a good updated FTP program.
