Default congigure.php error after successful installation

Hi There,

This is my first post and 1st day that I have tried OS, so please be patient with me. Actually, its my first step in the php & MySql world.

1.
I have just installed the program at www.designerbagplus.com

not sure why it is taking the default folder as http://www.designerbagplus.com/catalog/

2. issue is that I have set the permission of the configure.php file to 644, but still i am getting a message

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/designer/public_html/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

3. why the images are missing on this page.

4. what is the default password for admin panel

Default RE: congigure.php error after successful installation

1. Because you uploaded the files to the catalog directory instead of the document root
2. Set it to 444
3. I get a forbidden error when trying to access your image directly. Fix the permissions on your images directory and files. See the wiki guide for proper permissions.
4. Read the readme files included in oscmax or sticky posts in this forum, the default login is posted there
