Help new install oscmax2_RC3 stumped!

Can't get past step 2 install page, I have a fedora 4 server manage with plesk 8, php safe mode is disabled. I use WinSCP to manages files on server, sooo many hours..... with this.

uploaded oscmax2_RC3 to server in sites root/httpdocs so that I have mysite.com/ (without catalog)

/admin /backups
/admin /htmlarea
/admin/images
/admin/includes
/download
/images
/includes
/install
I have changed permissions for /includes/configure.php and /admin/includes/configure.php to chmod 777 and verified permissions.
The htaccess file that came with the zip file already took care of the register_globals = On

So what else is there?

Maybe it was the lack of sleep, maybe it was my bleeding fingers or just some scripy in a cron that just needed to run.
I ran install in browser again and it just decided to run, so never mind! for know.....
